Special Education

Students identified with a learning disability are eligible for special education services offered through the Resource Specialist Program or the speech/language program. These programs provide specific instruction in reading, writing or mathematics, speech articulation or language processing to address goals and objectives recorded in a student’s individualized education plan (IEP).

Students are referred to special education when a severe discrepancy exists between the student’s potential and performance.
