Welcome from the Principal

Welcome to the 2025 2026 school year I am so excited to begin another incredible year with our amazing LAE community.

At LAE we take great pride in the strong partnership between our caring staff dedicated families and wonderful students. Our school is a place where everyone belongs and together we create a vibrant supportive environment that helps every child thrive.

Our mission is to educate the whole child academically socially and emotionally. We are committed to making sure all students feel safe seen and valued. We strive to provide a joyful and inclusive learning experience where each child can grow and succeed.

I am excited to continue the momentum we built last year. Beloved traditions such as Camp LAE, the Sweetheart Dance, and our high energy Fit a thon will return along with meaningful spirit weeks like PEACE Week and Red Ribbon Week. We will also keep inspiring a love of reading through our One School One Book initiative which is one of our most heartwarming community building efforts.

Our goal is for LAE to feel like a second home a place where children are cared for families are welcomed and learning is celebrated. I look forward to a joyful connected and impactful year ahead.

 

 

Four easy ways parents and the community can become involved are by: 

  1. Attending monthly PTA meetings
  2. Attending School Site Council Meetings
  3. Participating in our Booster Club activities with Friends of Los Alamitos Elementary (FLAE) through fundraising events
  4. Helping out your child’s teacher in any way you can
